This has been a revelatory week.
– I am good very good at my job.
– I enjoy my job.
– I can do big, important things through excelling in my job.
– I am at my best when I am and feel independent.
None of this is truly “holy cow” revelatory, but they are reminders of things that are important to me, and things that, recently, I have forgotten. I am grateful for the reminder.
The Daily Tune-Up 
That does indeed sound like an excellent week. Self-awareness of all kinds is usually a good thing, but it’s often easier to come by opportunities to be reminded of your limitations than those that make you realize, or remember, how good you actually are.
You must have done great at that rodeo.
I was such a natural. I knew when to hold them, and ALSO when to fold them. Wait. Crap.
I don’t know this Karl person… but based on how hard I just laughed at that comment, I think we’d get along swimmingly.
